Use CBS to maintain customers, configure banking products, manage accounts, record transactions, and review their accounting and reporting results. This guide uses bank terminology and the Indonesian labels shown in the back office.
Before You Begin#
You need an active CBS user, the appropriate role, and an assignment to an active branch and cash office. Your administrator supplies the application address and account details. The menus, records, and actions available to you depend on your access and office context.
Keep four concepts separate:
| Concept | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Customer / CIF | The individual or organization doing business with the bank. | One personal CIF with several accounts. |
| Product | The reusable rules for a type of account. | Savings interest, fees, and accounting mappings. |
| Account / Rekening | A customer's instance of a product. | A savings account or loan account. |
| Transaction | A financial event affecting accounts and accounting records. | Deposit, withdrawal, transfer, or installment payment. |
Creating a CIF does not open every account the customer needs. Creating a product does not create customer accounts. Saving a request may leave it awaiting authorization. Each module explains the next step and the resulting status.
Sign In and Sign Out#
- Open your bank's CBS address.
- Enter the login details supplied to you and submit the sign-in form.
- If CBS requests an office selection, choose one of your assigned cash offices.
- Confirm the branch and cash office shown in the header before starting work.
An inactive user cannot sign in. CBS inactivates a user after three failed password attempts. If your account becomes inactive, contact the administrator responsible for user maintenance and authorization; repeatedly retrying the same password will not restore access.
To sign out, open the avatar menu at the top of the screen and select Logout. Save or deliberately abandon unfinished work before ending the session.
Change Your Password#
- Open the avatar menu and select Profile.
- Select Ubah Password.
- Enter Password Lama, Password Baru, and Konfirmasi Password Baru.
- Select Ubah Password, review the confirmation, and select Ubah.
- After a successful change, CBS signs you out and returns you to the login page. Sign in with your new password and confirm the office context.
Correct any validation messages before resubmitting. Follow the password requirements shown by the form and your bank. Perform password changes using your own account.
Check Your Role and Transaction Authority#
The profile displays Role, Tipe Role, and Maksimal Transaksi Tanpa Otorisasi. Teller profiles also show Kas Teller and the page lists your office assignments. These details are read-only; use them to check your operating authority.
Permission to open a transaction screen and permission to complete a transaction without authorization are separate controls. Deposit transactions above your threshold require authorization unless your role's Tanpa batas maksimal otorisasi option applies. A displayed value of zero alone does not mean unlimited authority.
Ask your administrator to correct an unsuitable role, cash-account assignment, or threshold. See User and Role Administration and Teller Operations.
Work in the Correct Office#
CBS shows the current branch and cash office in the header. Account-opening and loan-application forms can display these fields as read-only values taken from your current context.
To switch office:
- Finish or leave the current form without saving unwanted changes.
- Open the avatar menu and select Ganti Kantor Kas.
- In Pindah Kantor Kas, select an eligible assignment. Selecting it immediately changes the context and reloads the application.
- Check the office shown in the header after the reload.
Select an assigned office to change your context. The available assignments depend on your user.
The selector uses your active office assignments. If no eligible assignment is available, an administrator must correct your placement or office status. Switching office changes the context for subsequent work; it does not transfer existing customers or accounts to that office.
Navigate the Workspace#
| Sidebar Entry | What You Do There |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Enter the workspace and navigate to modules. |
| Administrasi | Maintain organization details, users, office assignments, holidays, parameters, and document stock. |
| Customer Service | Maintain CIFs, bulk onboarding, DTTOT information, and obligo groups. |
| Simpanan | Configure deposit products, open and service accounts, and perform teller transactions. |
| Pinjaman | Configure lending, originate and service loans, and manage problem loans. |
| Akuntansi | Maintain accounting configuration, journals, and fixed assets. |
| Laporan | Request and download supported reports and maintain available report mappings. |
Some breadcrumbs use English names such as Deposit or Customer, while the sidebar uses Simpanan and Customer Service. Procedures in this guide start from the sidebar label.
Use account enquiries to inspect a specific balance or transaction. Use Laporan when you need a report for an office, period, or product.
Find and Review a Record#
- Open the relevant list, such as Customer Service → CIF Personal or Simpanan → Rekening Tabungan.
- Choose the search field before entering a value. For example, a CIF search can distinguish No. CIF from Nama CIF.
- Use Filter for the additional criteria offered by that list.
- Check pagination if the record is not on the current page.
- Open the row's action menu and choose the appropriate detail or maintenance action.
Search fields and available filters differ by module. A list of customers, a list of drafts, and an authorization queue are separate views: absence from one does not establish that the record does not exist.
Before editing or transacting, verify the record identifier, customer, account or product, office, and current status. A similar customer name is not a reliable substitute for an account or CIF number.
Understand Saving and Authorization#
CBS uses several workflows. Apply the one described for the specific operation.
| Stage | What It Means for Your Work |
|---|---|
| Draft | Work has been saved but still needs completion or submission. |
| Submitted / awaiting authorization | A request exists for review; the proposed change may not yet be effective. |
| Accepted / approved | The authorizer has accepted the request. Check the resulting record or transaction to confirm its effect. |
| Rejected | Read the reason and follow that module's correction or resubmission path. |
| Active, closed, dormant, or blocked | A state of the underlying account; it is distinct from a request's approval state. |
These are explanations of workflow concepts, not a universal set of status labels. For example, loan applications use Draft, Diajukan, and Disetujui, while loan accounts have a separate disbursement stage.
For an authorization task, open the relevant Otorisasi menu, inspect the request and supporting information, and accept or reject using the controls provided. Enter a rejection reason when requested. A successful save message alone should not be read as evidence that every downstream step is complete.
Confirm the Outcome#
After a permitted operation, reopen the relevant record and check its status and history. For financial work, also check the amount, account activity, transaction reference, and applicable report or journal. If an error or uncertain result appears, inspect the record before attempting the same operation again.
When reporting an issue, include the module, action, time, office, record or request reference, and visible error. Use the bank's approved support channel and avoid including passwords or unnecessary customer information.
