Teller operations record the movement of funds using configured transaction codes. The selected code determines the transaction purpose and the accounts or COAs involved. Use the code that matches the customer's instruction and the bank's accounting setup.
| Menu | Use |
|---|---|
| Transaksi Tunai | Cash deposits and withdrawals using the configured cash transaction codes. |
| Transaksi Non-Tunai | Non-cash movements involving a customer account and a configured RAB. |
| Transaksi Pindah Buku | Transfers between the source and destination accounts selected in the form. |
| Transaksi Teller Lainnya | Other configured transactions, including internal-account movements and cash issue/return. |
Each transaction family has a corresponding Otorisasi … menu. A transaction may be accepted immediately or wait for authorization depending on the submitting user's transaction threshold and authorized bypass setting.
Before You Begin#
Confirm your office and cash-office context, teller assignment, access permissions, and available cash. Check the customer/account identity and transaction instruction. The relevant transaction template, product, and any internal bank account must be configured before the transaction can be completed.
An account balance, available balance, and teller cash balance serve different purposes. A withdrawal can be restricted by unavailable customer funds, an account status, or insufficient teller cash even when another displayed balance appears sufficient.
Configure a Teller Account#
An administrator maps the teller user to an accounting COA. This gives CBS the teller account used for cash activity and balance tracking.
- Open Administrasi → Konfigurasi User Teller.
- Select Tambah Teller CoA.
- Select Kode User and Kode CoA. Check the displayed Saldo Terakhir where applicable.
- Save the mapping using the form's action and review it in the list.
- Confirm the user's office assignment and transaction authority separately before the user begins operating.
A teller-to-COA mapping does not itself grant an unlimited transaction limit. Access to a screen, the amount a user may submit without further authorization, and the amount an authorizer may approve are separate controls.
Configure Transaction Templates#
Transaction templates connect business operations to accounting. Configure them with the accounting team before use by tellers.
- Open Simpanan → Template Transaksi Simpanan and select Tambah Template Transaksi.
- Enter Kode Transaksi and Nama Transaksi.
- Complete Terkait Rek. Deposit and select Kode Jurnal Template.
- Review Transaksi Hanya Digunakan Sistem, Kategori Transaksi Deposit, Tipe Produk Deposit, Kode Tabungan (Digunakan pada Buku Tabungan), and Status as applicable.
- Select Simpan and complete the confirmation.
- Reopen the template and verify its category and accounting references before using it.
The transaction category controls where the template is available. A system-only code is not a general teller option. If the correct code is missing, ask the administrator to inspect the template's category, status, and permissions; do not choose another code with a similar name just to proceed.
Record a Cash Deposit or Withdrawal#
Choose Kode Transaksi Teller before selecting an account. The account selector is disabled until a transaction code is selected.
- Open Simpanan → Transaksi Tunai → Tambah Transaksi Tunai.
- Select Kode Transaksi Teller for the intended deposit or withdrawal.
- Select Nomor Rekening and verify the account and customer. The selected transaction code determines the eligible account type.
- Enter Nominal Transaksi, or review the amount supplied by CBS if it is fixed for the selected transaction/account.
- Enter Keterangan describing the instruction and supporting reference.
- Review the account, direction, amount, and description. Select Submit, then confirm Submit.
- Read the result. If CBS says Menunggu otorisasi, complete the authorization process before treating the movement as completed.
- Verify the accepted transaction in the transaction list and account statement, and check the teller balance affected by the cash movement.
Changing the transaction code can clear account, amount, or description fields. Recheck the entire form after a change. For applicable term-product funding, the form may derive the amount from the account's agreed placement or installment rather than allowing a free amount.
Record a Non-Cash Transaction#
- Open Simpanan → Transaksi Non-Tunai → Tambah Transaksi Non-Tunai.
- Select Kode Transaksi, then Nomor Rekening.
- Enter or review Nominal Transaksi.
- Select Rekening Antara Bank (RAB). Verify the RAB's purpose and office against the intended transaction.
- Enter Keterangan and review all fields.
- Select Submit and confirm Ya, Simpan.
- Complete authorization if required, then review the customer and RAB statements and the transaction record.
A recorded CBS non-cash transaction is not by itself evidence of settlement through an external payment network. Where another banking channel is involved, reconcile that channel's evidence against the CBS transaction according to the bank's operating process.
Transfer Funds between Accounts#
- Open Simpanan → Transaksi Pindah Buku → Tambah Pindah Buku.
- Select Kode Transaksi Teller.
- Select Nomor Rekening Sumber and Nomor Rekening Tujuan. Check both account holders and the direction of the transfer.
- Enter Nominal Transaksi and Keterangan.
- Select Submit and confirm.
- If pending, complete review in Otorisasi Transaksi Pindah Buku.
- Check the transaction result and both affected statements after acceptance.
If the intended source or destination is unavailable, verify that the selected transaction template supports that account type. Do not substitute a RAB or another customer's account to bypass the selection rules.
Record Other Transactions#
Transaksi Teller Lainnya derives its debit and credit fields from the selected template. The screen can request one of four participant types on each side:
The blank form with Rincian Pecahan Uang expanded. Debit and credit participant fields appear after selecting a transaction code; the denomination list continues below the visible portion.
| Displayed Participant Type | What to Select |
|---|---|
| Produk | The customer account belonging to the required product family. |
| Teller | The teller user associated with the relevant teller COA. |
| Rekening Antara Bank | The internal RAB account. |
| Fix | The fixed COA supplied by the template; it is displayed rather than selected freely. |
- Open Simpanan → Transaksi Teller Lainnya → Tambah Transaksi Teller Lainnya.
- Select Kode Transaksi Teller.
- Complete the Debit and Kredit fields that appear. Check their participant labels before selecting accounts.
- Enter Nominal Transaksi and Keterangan.
- For a cash movement requiring denominations, enable Rincian Pecahan Uang and complete the counts as described below.
- Review the complete transaction, select Submit, and confirm.
- Complete authorization if required and verify the resulting balances and accounting records.
The fixed COA comes from the template. If it is wrong, stop the transaction and have the configuration corrected. Review the transaction's participants and direction before submitting, then reconcile the resulting journal after acceptance.
Issue Cash to a Teller or Return Cash#
Cash issue and return use configured Transaksi Teller Lainnya codes.
For an issue from main cash to a teller:
- Select the configured cash-issue transaction code.
- Check that the debit participant represents the receiving teller cash account and the credit participant represents the issuing main cash account. The exact controls depend on the approved template.
- Select the relevant teller where the form requests Teller. Confirm the correct main-cash reference supplied by the template or selection.
- Enter the amount and a clear handover description.
- Enable Rincian Pecahan Uang. For each Pecahan, enter Lembar; CBS calculates Subtotal and the denomination total.
- Compare the entered counts with the physical cash. The denomination total must equal Nominal Transaksi before submission.
- Submit, complete authorization if required, and verify the resulting teller balance and handover record.
For a return, use the configured cash-return code and check that the direction is reversed: main cash receives the debit and teller cash the credit. Enter the denominations actually returned. Do not reuse an issue code and attempt to reverse it with a negative amount; the transaction amount must be positive.
The denomination switch is available on the other-transaction form. Follow the bank's cash-handover requirements when using it. Once enabled, CBS requires the denomination total to match the transaction amount; disabling the switch is not a reconciliation remedy for a cash discrepancy.
Authorize a Pending Transaction#
CBS sends a user-submitted transaction to pending authorization when its amount is greater than the user's threshold and the explicit bypass setting is not enabled. Transactions within the threshold can be accepted automatically. A displayed zero threshold does not mean unlimited authority.
- Open the corresponding Otorisasi Transaksi Tunai, Otorisasi Transaksi Non-Tunai, Otorisasi Transaksi Pindah Buku, or Otorisasi Transaksi Teller Lainnya list.
- Open the pending transaction and review its code, participants, amount, office context, description, and denominations where applicable.
- Select Terima and confirm acceptance. To reject, select Tolak, enter Alasan Penolakan, and confirm.
- Verify the completed result and resulting balance movements. A rejected request should not be treated as a completed cash movement.
The authorizer must have a matching permitted office/cash-office placement and sufficient authorization capacity unless an explicit bypass applies. If authorization fails, refer the request to the appropriately authorized reviewer; changing the amount to fit a limit changes the transaction and is not a valid approval workaround.
Review Handover History and Reconcile Cash#
- Open Administrasi → Konfigurasi User Teller.
- In Riwayat untuk:, select the teller and set Tanggal.
- Review Riwayat Transaksi, including Kode Transaksi, Catatan, Credit Amount, Debit Amount, and Saldo Berjalan.
- Use Lihat Rincian Pecahan on a relevant row to inspect its recorded counts.
- Where a handover document is needed, use Download Berita Acara. Inspect the downloaded document and its transaction reference before using it as handover evidence.
- Reconcile the teller's recorded balance with counted cash, pending requests, and the transaction history. Use teller cash and denomination reports as supporting evidence.
If a transaction appears missing, check the pending authorization list before entering it again. If the result of a submission is uncertain, search for the original transaction and inspect affected balances first. Duplicate submission can create a second financial movement.
Statement entries and generated journals are the evidence of accepted movement. Reconcile a discrepancy through the bank's controlled correction process; do not create an unrelated offsetting transaction merely to make a balance look correct.
